Selling Girl Scout cookies is a yummy way for us to raise money for our troop. Since our troop is still in first grade I have set a goal but there is not pressure to meet the goal, just to try our best. This year we have used our cookie money to fund field trips, to buy extra patches and supplies, and to supplement our community service project of sponsoring a foster teen. Older troops also use cookie money to fund summer camps. If we make enough money we can use it to buy our Brownie uniforms for next year and maybe plan some bigger excursions.
